Overview
ThumbnailDownload (“we”, “us”) provides free web tools to extract and download publicly available media from social platforms. We designed the service to need as little data as possible. You don’t create an account, log in, or connect any social profile to use it.
Information we don't collect
We do not require or collect your name, email, passwords, or social media credentials to use the tools. We do not ask you to sign in to any third-party platform. If you email us, we only see what you choose to send.
How the tools work (stateless processing)
When you paste a link, our server fetches the publicly available data needed to produce the result and returns it to you. This processing is stateless: we do not build a profile of you and we do not retain the URLs you look up or the media they point to beyond what is needed to serve that single request.
Logs, cookies and analytics
Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically record standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
Third-party content and links
The media and pages you access through the tools are hosted by the original platforms (for example YouTube, Instagram or Pinterest) and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms.
Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
